RESPONSIBILITIES Directs and oversees the activities of senior managers and senior individual contributors Accountable for the department achievement of performance and quality metrics Establishes the short-term and long-term strategies for the organization and oversees the implementation of those strategies by all leaders Leads the integration of complex business factors and new work processes to develop and implement long-term strategic training plans, policies and procedures to support and achieve business objectives Viewed both internally and externally as an expert on training and development research, learning and motivation theory, and new materials, methods and techniques that ensure optimal level of training delivery initiatives Initiates on-going business improvement reviews and identifies resources to lead such activities Regularly leads discussions with senior leadership concerning emerging strategic initiatives Must have both the necessary technical knowledge and the real-world experience in the subject matter they are assigned to teach Strong experience teaching or coaching in a professional environment If applicable, has thorough understanding and technical knowledge on supported software, systems and components Advanced class presentation, facilitation and management Demonstrated knowledge of applicable metrics and how to measure and report on them Demonstrates advanced coaching skills, process skills and consulting skills Demonstrates advanced written and verbal communication skills Ability to work on multiple projects and/or tasks with aggressive deadlines Self motivated with a strong desire to learn new technologies. 10+ years of experience required.
